About the virtue and timing of these adhkar:
Dhikr after the obligatory prayers is among the greatest acts of worship the Prophet ﷺ kept up and encouraged his companions to do, as it makes up for shortcomings in prayer and multiplies good deeds.
This section includes istighfar three times, “Allahumma antas-salam wa minkas-salam”, tasbih, tahmid and takbir 33 times each, and completing one hundred with the declaration of tawhid.
For this combined dhikr we built a smart counter that moves you automatically through the tasbih, tahmid, takbir and tahlil stages, accurately and smoothly.
Adhkar texts with references (4 adhkar):
There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, none can give what You withhold, and no wealth or status benefits its owner against You.
Tasbih after prayer: SubhanAllah (33), Alhamdulillah (33), Allahu Akbar (33), and to complete one hundred: There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things.
Ayat al-Kursi: Allah — there is no god but Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent. (al-Baqarah 2:255)
