Virtues of sending prayers upon the Prophet ﷺ in the Sunnah:
Allah commanded us to send prayers upon His Prophet: “Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace.” (al-Ahzab 33:56)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever sends one prayer upon me, Allah sends ten upon him” (Muslim 384). It is a means of relief from worries, forgiveness of sins and closeness to him on the Day of Resurrection.
